Botanica - Fabulous Fade Speckled Set - 3 x 100g SW British Sock Yarn (300g)
Botanica - Fabulous Fade Speckled yarn set - soft and squishy.
This yarn has been dyed to give a variegated effect using various colours of professional acid dye.
75% superwash wool, 25% nylon - Approx. 400m per 100gm skein
3 x 100g total (300g).
No two skeins are the same so I would recommend alternating skeins when knitting or crocheting.
This yarn is 100% authentically British. Its made using wool from sheep on the British mainland and spun in the UK so has a low carbon footprint. It has a standard construction of 4/16nm with 400m (437 yds) per 100g. Made with 75% Superwashed British wool and 25% Nylon, the wool fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not ‘felt’ when dyed or washed. The wool is combined with a smaller percentage of nylon giving the knitted fabric extra durability and strength making it harder wearing. The yarn takes the dye well and is perfect for socks or any other project that requires a machine washable, easy care 4 ply yarn.
No two skeins are the same so I would recommend alternating skeins when knitting or crocheting.
All yarns are Mulesing free and hand dyed by myself in Fife, Scotland.
Hand washing or washing separately is recommended initially as some bleeding of colour may occur.
I try to photograph all my yarns in natural light where possible, however please be aware of the differences in colours on different monitors etc
